It is worth mentioning an important and interesting project in Angouleme that is linked to DDessinParis: Passerelles by the Director of the International centre of comics and images, Pierre Lungheretti; Patric Clanet, Director of EESI, Ecole Européenne Superiéure de l’image. A special thank also to Catherine Mallet, Director of the cultural space Les Modillons, Espace évenementiel et culturel acting as Commissioner. One can undertake an interesting itinerary comprising contemporary design and comics.

Many young talents will participate trying to explore new graphic ways in Angouleme. This French village, in the district of Charente and capital of this region, is known for the International Festival of Comics and this year it celebrates its 44th edition.

Countless conferences are scheduled in this event such as “Drawing in the digital era” dealing with some issues about drawing in the digital era. In fact, the latter is not only dots and lines but allows artists to express their own creativity in different ways, distant from conventional ones.
