Rome opens the door to the highest anticipated event f 2017.
On May 6th and 7th, 2017 Open House Rome will start its sixth edition(www.openhouseroma.org). You would not miss this opportunity if you are fond of Art or simply curious to visit the most off-the-beaten track and fascinating spots in the Italian Capital.
During one weekend, you can select one of the 200 sites proposed in the program: historical and monumental buildings, museums and archeological sites. Open House is not only an extraordinary opening.
Indeed, the program proposes guided visits and especially the opening of FAO headquarter in Viale Aventino, the Italian Space Agency and the stunning Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, which hosts the famous couture fashion brand Fendi.
Among others, it is worth mentioning Laboratorio ESTHIA, a cultural association supporting the work of talented young female artists in Rome and abroad. www.esthia.net
On this sixth edition, Open House, aims at broadening its action by offering URBANITAS: the opportunity to exchange, analyze and compare ideas in favor of a sustainable city.
On May the 4th at MAXXI Museo delle Arti of 21st century and 5th May at Sala Convegni AIL in Via Casilina 5, Urbanitas will call for institutions, research centers, citizens and national and international stake holders to foster projects for the future of Rome in 5 different fields: governance and shared goods, co-design, creative departments, mobility and sustainability.
Two can’t-miss events realized thanks to OPEN CITY ROMA association, their partners and over 500 volunteers: students, teachers, architects and people passionate about Art that make this happen yearly
